A 55-year-old man from Beaconsfield has been sentenced to nearly a decade behind bars for sexually assaulting three people.

Richard Cunningham, of Maxwell Road, was found guilty of sexually assaulting three people by a jury on February 28, following a week-long trial at Aylesbury Crown Court.

He was also found guilty of assault by penetration and not guilty of one count of rape in relation to offences committed in Chalfont St Peter between 2015 and 2019.

Cunningham was sentenced to eight-and-a-half years in prison on Friday, April 19.

The 55-year-old also previously pleaded guilty to assaulting an emergency worker after her pushed a female police officer to the ground on Maxwell Road, causing a head injury that required hospital treatment.

Detective Inspector Christopher Birtles said: The three victims in this case were brave and resolute and this conviction shows their determination to see not only justice for what happened but also to prevent it from happening to anyone else.

Richard Cunningham preyed on these vulnerable victims and the sentence he received reflects the awful nature of the crimes he committed.

I hope this case shows that we will always support victims of sexual offences and do all we can to put offenders before the courts.

We also simply will not accept assaults on our dedicated and hardworking police officers while serving the public so Im glad Cunningham has also been brought to justice for this offence.

A CONVICTED sex offender has been jailed for a second time after being caught with an unapproved Facebook account.

Joshua De Banks, who was first convicted in 2019 for swapping sexually explicit messages with a teen boy, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Tuesday (April 16) charged with three counts of breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).

It was discovered that the 25-year-old, who was released from a two-year prison term for similar breaches in January this year, had a second unapproved Facebook account and had altered a safety app installed on his phone by police.

The defendant, who was using an approved alias on Facebook called ‘Zack Fields’ after an application to amend his SHPO was approved in 2022, said he had made a second account as he was locked out of the first.

Sentencing De Banks to 16 months imprisonment, Judge Michael Gledhill said: “You got away pretty lightly on this occasion.

“If you carry on like this you will spend the rest of your life in prison. You’ve got to get your act together.”

De Banks, formerly of Field Avenue, Oxford, was first made subject to SHPO in 2019 after asking a 15-year-old boy to engage in sex acts.

The victim was ‘so traumatised’ he later took an overdose of paracetamol.

In May 2022, he received a two-year jail term for multiple breaches of the SHPO by using library computers and using a friend’s phone to access WhatsApp and his emails.

De Banks had also acquired a smartphone, which was eventually found beneath his oven, that he had not registered with police.

In September 2022, he applied to amend the SHPO so he could use an alias – Zack Fields – which the courts and police approved.

Upon his release in January, he was handed his phone back with the safety software installed.

However, within a few weeks, De Banks’s mother reported to police the second Facebook account.

The third breach was using his phone after the software had been altered.

Defending De Banks, now of Hughendon Road, High Wycombe, barrister Henry Dickson said upon his client’s release he was in Newcastle and homeless.

He returned to ‘alcohol abuse’ before the breaches occurred.

He said: “He accepts entirely that this is his responsibility.

“Whatever the circumstances, how sad or difficult they may be, he accepts he has failed to comply with the order.”

It was added that De Banks, who has been on suicide watch in prison, does not know how the safety software was altered.

A man has been jailed for years after he stabbed another man in the back following a brawl. 

Florin Suta, 41, of Green Street, High Wycombe, was jailed for stabbing a man in the back in High Wycombe.

He pleaded guilty to one count each of Section 18 wounding with intent, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and failing to comply with notification requirements at a hearing at Aylesbury Crown Court on September 7.

He was sentenced to four years’ imprisonment at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday, December 1 and he will be on licence for two years after his release.

The attack happened following an altercation involving several people on Green Street at about 11.50pm on July 14.

On arrival, police officers located the victim, a man in his thirties, with a stab wound to his back.

Several members of the public identified Suta at the scene and notified officers that he was in possession of a knife, so they arrested him.

CCTV footage showed that as the victim left an address along Green Street, Suta emerged from an adjacent alleyway and stabbed the victim once in the back.

The victim escaped and he was pursued along the road by Suta, who then fell over.

After arresting Suta, officers discovered he had been living at a different address to the one he provided and he had failed to notify the police.

He is a registered sex offender, meaning one of his requirements is to notify police of a chance of address within three days of any change.

Suta was charged the following day.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Will Blundell, of South Buckinghamshire CID, said: “Suta attacked the victim with a knife in a targeted attack intending to cause injury. He then pursued the victim, who was running away from him, and was only prevented from causing further harm when he fell over.

“Suta remained in possession of the knife whilst he himself made a call to the police during which he showed no remorse for his actions.

“A large number of members of the public came out onto the street due to the disturbance and thankfully, no one else was injured as Suta continued to walk along the road armed with the knife prior to officers arriving.

A violent sex offender has had his prison sentence extended after he assaulted a vulnerable person and verbally abused a bus driver.

Zeshan Akhtar, aged 36, has had three months added to his seven-year prison sentence, which he was already serving for sexually assaulting a teenager.

The prisoner was produced at Wycombe Magistrates' Court on June 30 where he admitted to assaulting a vulnerable woman in Milton Keynes on March 10 last year.

Akhtar, of Gaddesden Crescent in Milton Keynes, also admitted to using abusive language and behaviour towards a bus driver on December 2, 2020. This older offence also took place in Milton Keynes,

The offender had initially denied the two charges but changed his plea at the hearing in June.

Sentencing him, the magistrates added three months to the lengthy sentence he is already serving.

Akhtar was sent down for seven years on May 5 after he was found guilty of two counts of sexual assault and one count of assault by penetration at Luton Crown Court.

The court heard how on August 16, 2021, in Bedford town centre, Akhtar approached a distressed teenage girl and attempted to kiss her.

When she tried to run away, Akhtar grabbed her and sexually assaulted her. Afterwards, he walked her home while holding her hand, and sexually assaulted her again just 160 yards from where she lived.

Akhtar had denied the charges against him but was found guilty by a jury following a trial at Luton Crown Court.

The investigating officer in the case, DC Katie Tavener, said: "No woman or girl should ever be made to feel scared and helpless.

"Akhtar took advantage of a situation to sexually assault a vulnerable young girl. When she said no, he ignored her, and no will always mean no.

"The victim showed true bravery by coming forward and reporting what had happened."

A paedophile jailed for filming his sexual abuse of underage boys on spy cams hidden in his Princes Risborough house of horrors has been branded "calculated and vile" by police.

Bernard Moore, 57, of Cannon Place, was sent down for 13 years and four months after his twisted behaviour was unmasked late last year when Australian police stumbled across the videos online.

Judge Maria Lamb was last week told that the boys were encouraged to perform sexual acts on themselves, with each other and on More, who filmed the encounters and uploaded them to a Russia-based pornographic site.

The boys were given beer to drink and in some of the footage appeared drunk. In other clips they were asleep while More molested them.

Speaking out after he was jailed at Oxford Crown Court last week, Detective Constable Leanne Moody, of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit, based at Oxford police station, praised his distraught victims for their bravery.

She said: "Moore was a calculated and vile individual who preyed on the most vulnerable children.

The victims in this case, bravely spoke up about their abuse which has taken place over several years.

If it was not for the courage of these victims, Moores offending would have continued.

Moore not only sexually abused his victims, but he filmed the abuse to share with other individuals.

The impact of his offending has had an enormous effect on his victims and their families.

I hope the sentence will provided some closure to the victims and I thank them for their courage and strength throughout the course of this investigation.

A malign paedophile filmed his sexual abuse of underage boys on spy cams hidden in his house of horrors then uploaded the footage to the internet.

Bernard More, 57, gave the films titles that hinted at their sick content. One of the films uploaded to a Russia-based pornographic site contained the words teen boy spy cam while another was spy cam: hes at it again.

His twisted behaviour was unmasked late last year when Australian police stumbled across the videos online. The films had been uploaded by someone whose website username contained Mores date of birth, Oxford Crown Court heard.

The antipodean authorities traced the site user back to Buckinghamshire-based More then tipped off Thames Valley Police.

Oxfordshire detectives interviewed the younger two of the defendants victims on November 16, all of whom are now in their teens and cannot be identified for legal reasons. The older two boys did not wish to be interviewed.

The officers then arrested More and searched his property on December 1, less than a month after the tip off from Australian police.

They seized a Dell computer, 12 USB sticks, a memory card and a clutch of home CCTV cameras that had been installed in the living room, bathroom and bedrooms of his Princes Risborough home.

Those devices contained thousands of videos and images that More had recorded of himself sexually assaulting the four boys, the youngest of whom was just 11 when the abuse started.

In one of the videos, the defendant could be heard calling one boy then just 12-years-old a filthy pig as he encouraged the youngster to perform a sex act on himself.

Prosecutor Charles Ward-Jackson told Oxford Crown Court on Wednesday afternoon that in one piece of footage a boy was overheard telling More to put a video on a popular pornography website. The defendant says he will, Mr Ward-Jackson added.

In addition to the pictures that he took himself or distributed online, the defendant had a cache of more than 23,500 indecent images of unknown children including 513 in the most serious category.

Sending him down for 13 years and four months, Judge Lamb told bearded More: You were an utterly malign influence in their lives. You used each of them for your own sexual gratification.

She imposed an extended sentence, meaning that the defendant will spend two-thirds of his sentence behind bars until the Parole Board will consider whether he can be released. He must serve an extended three years on licence.

Had you not been caught when you were I have no doubt you would have continued in your behaviour, the judge told More, who kept his head bowed during the sentencing remarks.

Unless the risk you represent is addressed, you will continue to be a danger to young boys.

More, of Cannon Place, Princes Risborough, pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to 33 counts. They included sexual activity with a child, causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, and offences of making, having and distributing indecent images of a child.

David Jones, defending, acknowledged there was little that could be said in mitigating his clients case. More entered his plea at the earliest opportunity despite making no comment during his police interview. The defendant was said to be remorseful.

Judge Lamb ordered that More would spend the rest of his life on the sex offender register. He will be subject to an indefinite sexual harm prevention order limiting his access to young boys.

At the end of the nearly two-hour sentencing hearing, she praised the police for the swift and comprehensive investigation that resulted in More being brought to justice.

Rapist, 37, who kidnapped a 17-year-old girl as she waited for her parents before driving ten miles to assault her is facing jail

A monster kidnapped a 17-year-old girl who was waiting for her parents to pick her up after a night out, before driving her 10 miles and raping her.

Mohammed Atif Khan snatched the teen as she stood in Hemel Hempstead town centre on Saturday August 28, last year.

CCTV cameras showed the 37-year-old reversing back and parking up after driving past the teen in the Hertfordshire town.

Khan, from Chesham, Buckinghamshire, then forced the victim into his car.

He drove her ten miles away from her waiting spot before sexually assaulting and raping her.

The rapist then drove his traumatised victim back to Hemel Hempstead and where she was left to make her way back to the town centre before her family found her.

The victim - who cannot be named for legal reasons - bravely told her family what had happened and they called the police.

Last Thursday, March 17, Khan was convicted at Luton Crown Court of four offences, including kidnap with intent to commit a sexual offence, rape, oral rape and sexual assault by penetration.

Police have hailed the 'incredible courage' of the teen for coming forward and giving evidence.

An intense investigation was launched following the offences, in which detectives trawled hours of Automatic Number Plate Recognition and CCTV footage.

They were able to ascertain the movements of the vehicle Khan used and identified a white Volkswagen Polo of interest.

In 2018, Khan set up a car renting and leasing company - named Stallion Supercars - but it went bust just over a year later.

The white Polo was registered to Khan at an address in Chesham and was forensically recovered by Thames Valley Police.

He was arrested four days after committing the crimes.

Khan was later charged but pleaded not guilty, meaning his victim was forced to give evidence in court.

The rapist was found guilty by a jury last week, and has been remanded back into custody ahead of a sentencing hearing at the same court on May 13.

Det Insp Justine Jenkins said: 'News of this stranger attack caused understandable and considerable concern in the community at the time.

'So, I am pleased to share that we have managed to secure a conviction on behalf of the victim.

'She has shown incredible courage throughout the whole investigation and court case.

'Especially after Khan's refusal to admit what he had done meant she had to endure the trauma of giving evidence.

'She has been supported by specially trained officers throughout and has also received additional help from partner organisations.

'Khan has shown himself to be a dangerous sexual predator who, when he saw the victim alone, decided to unashamedly exploit the situation for his own sickening gain.

'He is now behind bars as we await the outcome of his sentencing next month.'

A RAPIST who escaped justice for two years after cops missed him during a DNA swab operation has now been convicted of child abuse.

Police hunting the attacker of an 18-year-old girl in 2009 failed to take a sample from Michael Higgins.

They took more than 700 swabs during the probe but stopped within half a mile of his house in Warminster, Wilts.

He was eventually caught in April 2011 after his son was arrested for a minor offence and routinely swabbed and a family match was found.

The builder was jailed for 6 years in November 2011 for rape.

He has now been convicted of sexually assaulting a ten-year-old girl in 2020.

In the witness box at St Albans Crown Court, Higgins told his barrister Nathalie Carter that he was known as Mucky, which was an old work name he was given when he was a hod carrier.

Cross-examined by prosecutor Laura Blackband he said: I dont know where the allegations have come from. I dont know why she made this up.

Higgins, 57, now of Chesham, Bucks, will be sentenced at Swindon crown court in June.

A man who sexually abused a four-year-old boy has been jailed for a total of 11 years at Northampton Crown Court.

Matthew David Stephen Benson, previously of Aylesbury, abused the boy in Isham on May 19, 2019, when, as a trusted adult, he took advantage of being left alone with the child for just 15-minutes.

The boy disclosed the offence to a parent, who called the police, and 25-year-old Benson was subsequently arrested and charged with sexual activity with a child under 13 and with causing a child to watch a sexual act.

At his trial in September 2021, a jury found Benson guilty of both offences and on Thursday, January 27, he returned to the crown court where he was sentenced to a total 11 years in prison.

He received seven years and four years on extended licence for sexual activity with a child under 13, and 16-months for causing a child to watch a sexual act, to run concurrently. He was also placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life.

Lead Investigator, Detective Constable Kirstie Brooks, said: I am pleased with this sentencing result. Benson is a dangerous man who used the opportunity to abuse a very young child. He is now where he belongs behind bars and where he cannot hurt anyone anymore.

I would like to thank the young boy and his family who have been incredibly brave and strong throughout the investigation and court proceedings. Speaking up takes a huge amount of courage and strength and they should be commended for this.

Northamptonshire Police takes reports of sexual assault very seriously and will always treat reports of this nature with the confidentiality and sensitivity they deserve.

A SPIRITUAL healer who had a “sincere belief” in his abilities has been jailed for more than two years after inappropriately touching women he claimed he was helping.

Derek Thurlbeck, of The Pastures, High Wycombe, went to the homes of four separate women and touched their genitals over their clothes while carrying out his practices.

Described by a ‘master manipulator’, he told one woman she was ‘cursed’ in a bid to convince her to get healed.

A court heard how Thurlbeck, 63, sexually assaulted the four women at their Slough homes over two years between 2017 and 2019.

The High Wycombe man offered spiritual healing to these women free of charge but when he carried out his practice he touched them in ways which were “inappropriate” and “unprofessional”, Her Honour Judge Real said.

He used the “rhetoric of spirituality” to justify his actions, the Judge added.

Thurlbeck “did not have an elaborate plan”, Judge Real continued, but did “take advantage” of the “vulnerable” women.

Reading Crown Court heard how Thurlbeck approached one woman on the basis that she had a curse, and that “something terrible” would happen to her if she did not receive his healing.

The woman, whose identity we are not revealing, had a statement read out in court by prosecutor Walton Hornsby.

She said: “The incident has affected me emotionally. It has left me with flashbacks.

“I feel he has invaded a space in my own home.

“Since the incident I have lost trust in anyone I don’t know, I have stopped going out and I want it all to end soon so I can get on with my life.

“If I see a small car like the one he used to drive I get scared he has returned.

“This went on for two whole years and I’m still living with the consequences of this.

“He is very dangerous; he is very clever and a master manipulator.”

Edward Butler, defending, said: “This is not a case where the defendant was entirely motivated by a sexual appetite.

“This was somebody who had a genuine and sincere belief in his ability and his calling to try to help people.

“It is something he has lived with his entire life. There were momentary lapses during his dealings in which he succumbed to temptation.

“For the most part, the defendant was sincerely motivated towards these defendants.

“All of this can not be explained away by some great charade.”

Mr Butler said since his arrest in March 2019, the defendant had undertaken “two-and-a-half years of abstinence” as he had not provided healings to anyone else.

Sentencing, Judge Real told Thurlbeck: “They [the women] would not have agreed to your sessions if they knew there was a sexual motivation behind it.

“All of this gives me cause for concern for your future risk.

“You don’t seem to have very much insight into the problematic nature of what you did.”

Judge Real sentenced Thurlbeck to two years and six months in prison after he was convicted of five counts of sexual assault by a jury following a week-long trial earlier this year.

He will serve half of this before being released on licence.

The 63-year-old was also handed an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.

Thurlbeck was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Monday, August 16.

A married teacher who groomed a 15-year-old boy through Snapchat and had sex with him has been sentenced to six years and two months in prison.

Kandice Barber, 35, of Wendover, Buckinghamshire, had been found guilty of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

She was found not guilty of two further counts of the same offence at a trial in January.

Recorder Bal Dhaliwal said Barber was "beyond despicable".

The court heard the teacher added herself to the victim's Snapchat account in September 2018, exchanging messages with the boy which became sexual within a week.

The judge, sentencing at Aylesbury Crown Court, described how Barber sent the victim pictures "including a topless image" and a live video of a sexual act.

"All of these acts are tantamount to you grooming him and pulling him in, and with significant planning on your part."

The court heard Barber later asked the boy to meet her, going to a private field and having sex with him.

The judge said: "There is no doubt in my mind that you acted in gross breach of trust.

"You took advantage of a child in your care and groomed him for your own sexual gratification."

Barber later told the boy to delete all messages and block her on Snapchat to stop evidence being found, the court heard.

"You remained determined to silence him in whatever way you could," the judge said

Barber had to be tried for a second time after a first trial was unable to reach verdicts on three charges.

In a statement from the victim, read by prosecutor David Povall, he said the stress and anxiety of the trials had caused "poorer-than-expected GCSE results".

This led the victim "to leave the good school he was attending and go to a sixth-form college where none of his friends were".

Mr Povall said: "In summary, [the victim] says that the defendant ... who was supposed to help students make the right decisions instead helped him to make all the wrong decisions."

Barber was also handed a 16-month sentence for causing a child under 16 to watch sexual activity by a person in breach of trust and a further 10-month sentence for sexual communication, to be served concurrently with her main sentence.

She will be required to notify police of her personal details and address for the rest of her life, as well as being barred from working with children and vulnerable adults, and being subject to a lifelong sexual harm prevention order.

Following the sentencing, the NSPCC stressed the need for victims of child sexual abuse to be properly supported.

A spokesperson for the charity said: "As a teacher, Barber would have been well aware of the vulnerability of young people, and it was her duty to safeguard those in her care.

"But, instead, she exploited her position of trust to groom and abuse this teenage boy for her own sexual gratification."

A naval cadet instructor who featured in this week's episode of 24 Hours In Police Custody has been jailed for four and a half years for child sex abuse.

Alex Johnston, 30, of Ennerdale Close, Bletchley was sentenced at Luton Crown Court yesterday (Tuesday) after pleading guilty to five counts of engaging with sexual activity with a girl aged between 13 and 15.

Johnston started grooming two of his cadets in 2013. He sent them messages and built up a relationship with them before engaging in sexual activity with them.

He paid one of his victims 50 a month to stop her from telling people about the abuse, however, the victim contacted police in 2015 after doing a child safeguarding course and realised that Johnston had been taking advantage of her and abusing his position of trust.

Detective Inspector Richard Tilling, from the Bedfordshire Police Child and Vulnerable Adult Abuse unit, said: Johnston abused his position of trust to take advantage of two young girls, grooming them and engaging in sexual activity with them despite knowing they were under the age of consent.

We will not tolerate child sexual abuse of any kind. I hope that this sentence gives Johnston chance to reflect on his actions while serving as a warning to people who think they can get away with this type of behaviour. Id like to praise the bravery of both the victims in speaking out and hope that this allows them to begin to move on with their lives.

A 55-year-old High Wycombe man who was confronted by paedophile hunters when he attempted to meet a 14-year-old girl after grooming her online has been jailed for 18 months.

Mark Porter was sentenced at Luton Crown Court today (February 10) after a jury found him guilty in December of attempting to meet a girl online following sexual grooming, however it is likely Porter will only serve nine months of his sentence.

During the trial the jury heard that Porter contacted a young girl called Jenny Johnson over the internet, asked her to send pictures of her body and attempted to persuade her to visit his flat.

Porter sent numerous messages to the young girl, claiming he was falling in love, and that he wanted to “make love” to her.

However “Jenny” was a fake Facebook profile created by Neil and Katie Ivall - who launched a not-for profit organisation “Chris Fear” after a relative was groomed over the internet by a paedophile.

Porter was then caught up in a sting by the Ivalls at Luton Rail Station on March 25 last year.

The Ivalls were alerted to Porter by a concerned parent, who believed the High Wycombe man had attempted to contact his young daughter.

Porter denied the charges, claiming he knew Jenny was not a 14-year-old girl, but he continued his contact with her in an attempt to “unmask” those who were behind the messages.

During the sentencing, Judge Phillip Bartle said: “I was the trial judge, and the child in question was Jenny Johnson, who did not exist which is why you were convicted with an attempt to meet a child following sexual grooming.

“A Facebook profile was created by Mrs Ivall and it was she, an adult, who responded to the Facebook messages and the calls to Jenny.

“It was clear from their decision that the jury rejected your defence that you knew Jenny was not a 14-year-old girl and you continued your contact with her to unmask those who were behind this.

“She, as far as you knew, was 14-years-old and you were 54 at the time…

“There were many messages, saying you “want her, can you send me a picture of your body, not a bad one, so I know it is really you.”

During his contact with the young girl, Porter told Jenny not to tell her mum she was talking to him, as he feared being registered as a paedophile.

Judge Bartle continued: “You made arrangements to meet Jenny by meeting her outside Luton railway station, and then, as far as you were aware would drive her back to your flat where you would spend the weekend together, but when you got there you were met by the Ivalls and others. You were then arrested.”

During the sentencing it was revealed Porter committed the offence while he was serving a suspended prison sentence for a crime relating to the harassment of his ex-partner in 2014.

The court heard Porter was emotionally abusive and made his ex’s life a “misery” following the breakdown of their relationship by following her and “turn up uninvited” at places where he knew she would be.

However judge Bartle made the decision not to impose the suspended sentence due to the different nature of the crimes involved.

Porter was also slapped with a restraining order preventing him from contacting the family who approached the Ivalls, and a sexual harm prevention order.

The father-of-one William Cook was only caught because his WhatsApp messenger programme in his new phone kept a record of all of the videos he sent using his old smartphone, Aylesbury Crown Court was told.

The 29-year-old was convicted of distributing the video of a 12-year-old girl being forced to have sex with a five-year-old in an African village and of possession of videos of people having sex with animals.

He was also convicted of a string of drug dealing offences and of 55,000 worth of money laundering, after police raided his home.

A judge heard detectives found Cook sent the vile video to apparently make fun of the child sex victims, telling friends in a message this is you after officers carried out a drugs raid at his home.

Graham King, defending, said Cook proudly included a joke caption when he sent the video to a number of friends.

The lawyer described how Cook was unaware the WhatsApp application on his new phone re-downloaded the message.

This was thought to be helpful but in this case was not, said Mr King, who claimed his client had no sexual interest in children.

He shares your Honours obvious abhorrence of offences of this kind and child abuse, he told Judge Francis Sheridan.

However, the judge said: Here the case was utterly overwhelming. The defendant said in an interview he received this probably via Facebook and forwarded it to friends as a joke.

The court heard that Cook had played the court system to reduce his jail time by strategically admitting less serious versions of offences he was charged with after the police raid at his home in May 2015.

Sarah Porter, prosecuting, said a total of 8.59g of cocaine with a street value of about 400 was found in different rooms, wardrobes, the garden and a cutting agent and weighing scales with traces of cocaine were also found at his address.

The pornographic images were found on a mobile phone police seized and he admitted possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession of an extendable baton, which officers found in his Audi car.

Cook later admitted being in breach of court bail and possession with intent to supply cocaine at the Electric Daisy Carnival on July 9.

Ms Porter said he was also charged with possession with intent to supply a physchoactive substance after he was caught red-handed with 94 canisters of nitrogen dioxide, known as laughing gas, and more than 100 balloons at the event.

Judge Sheridan sentenced him to a total of 87 months jail for all the crimes and said: It is very unusual to find someone who throws himself so wholeheartedly into a life of crime. The reality is that he was out for an easy life.

The Electric Daisy Carnival is a haven for drug dealers as this court knows and Im afraid the deterrent is to expect no mercy on this. He must expect a criminal lifestyle sentence. Drugs are the scourge of this country.

Cook was jailed for a total of seven years and three months in total and placed on the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years.

He had also phoned a 14-year-old girl witness in a case he was dealing with and asking her to go on a date him.

Judge Francis Sheriden jailed paedophile policeman Mohammed Younas after hearing how he raped a girl who was just seven years old and continued to abuse her for eight years.

He had also turned up to work drunk after consuming a bottle of vodka and was found wandering the streets randomly stopping traffic whilst on duty.

Younas attacked the young girl, the court was told, because his wife refused to have sex with him. He also forced another child to touch his genitals.

‘This was the most despicable offence. It's hard to imagine a worse case,’ Judge Sheridan told the disgraced constable as he stood in the dock at Aylesbury Crown Court.

Younas had denied the 15 counts of rape and sexual assault against him but was found guilty by a jury and on Friday was sentenced to 18 years in prison.

At the height of the abuse Younas would rape her every other day and the court heard he would make her touch him whilst they both played a board game.

You walked around the street drunk, stopping traffic. You threatened witnesses who made complaints against you and you rang a 14-year-old girl to ask her to go out with you.

As well as being jailed for 18 years, Younas was handed a Sexual Offences Prevention Order banning him from unsupervised contact or communication with a person under 16.

He was put on the Sex Offenders Register for an indefinite period and given a restraining order banning him from contacting the victims.
