This is the face of the man who followed a woman 3.5 miles home before sexually assaulting her in the woods.

Andrew Custos, of Wroxham, was locked up last week after stalking the mother near her home in High Wycombe on February 26, 2022.

Thames Valley Police have now released a custody image of the offender, who was jailed for almost five years at Reading Crown Court.

The 30-year-old father had been driving his white Mercedes around Marlow town centre at 2am when he spotted the woman, who appeared unsteady, getting into a taxi from outside The Ship pub.

Custos followed the taxi 3.5 miles and through a red light to its destination, where the woman got out at the end of her road.

She walked back to her house and noticed Custos was following her so she kept walking past her home until she got to the end of the street.

Prosecutor Mr Brown said: He effectively stalked her on her way home.

It was as the woman turned back that Custos grabbed her and said come on, you know you want it.

She tried to fight him off for several minutes but Custos picked her up and carried her into the woods near Booker Common at 2.22am, CCTV showed.

While in the woods, Custos touched her bottom and kissed her, before he came to his senses and ran out at 2.29am.

The woman returned home and called the police, who arrested Custos on March 11, 2022.

Custos, a HGV driver, was sentenced to 57 months in prison for sexual assault and committing an offence with the intention to commit sexual assault.

He will sign the sex offenders register for life and he was barred from contacting the victim directly or indirectly for ten years.

Custos was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Friday, August 12.

A man has been sentenced to 16 years’ imprisonment following his conviction on a number of non-recent sexual offences against a girl.

48-year-old John Anthony Searle of Bay Road in Bracknell, was convicted by jury of one count of rape of a girl under 13, and two counts of sexual assault of a girl under 13.

Searle will have to sign the sex offenders register for life and made the subject of Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

A FATHER who owned a pink stretch-limousine which he hired out and used to drive schoolgirls to their prom party, was exposed today (June 26) as a paedophile with "an unhealthy interest in young children."

A judge heard that 38-year-old Robert Westgarth from Priestwood was addicted to pornography when he was arrested by police who found indecent pictures of children aged from six to 16 years on his electronic devices.

Westgarth hit Bracknell News headlines several years ago when he offered to take a group of young girls to their school prom in a pink limousine as a 'good deed' after he received a cancellation for his chauffeur services.

The Bracknell man will face a 21-month suspended jail sentence and ordered to attend 25 rehabilitation courses after a jury convicted him on charges of making and obtaining indecent images of children, some of which were of the most serious category.

The prison term was suspended for two years.

Prosecutor Kirsty Allman told the judge: "The four offences relate to the production and possession of 35 indecent images, both still and moving, of children found on Mr Westgarth's devices, aged from six years to 16 years."

Sitting at Reading Crown Court, Judge Angela Morris said: "Police visited your home and found indecent images on your storage devices and a video the jury found you had deliberately taken on your mobile phone. This was deliberate and premeditated but you maintained that it was entirely innocent.

"On the storage device you were found to have deliberately searched for indecent images of children which were category A, B and C.

"You are now 38 years of age and until this came to light, you were a family man. You have admitted in the pre-sentence report and to the jury, that you have an addiction. To put it bluntly, it has been said that you have an unhealthy interest in young children."

However, Judge Morris stressed that being addicted to something was not a defence.

Defence counsel, Giuseppina Silvio said: "Mr Westgarth has admitted a serious addiction to pornography. He has demonstrated that he has taken serious steps to address his obsession."

Judge Morris said: "It seems to me that you are still in that place, there is still a long way to go. You still maintain that story you gave to the jury despite them rejecting it but you have not made much of accepting the reality of the situation. You still have little or no insight into why the jury found you guilty."

Westgarth was made subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order which lasts for 10 years and he was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of 140 and to pay 500 prosecution costs.

Judge Morris added: "Show to your family that you are the man that they had all hoped you were, the man you were before this and the man you want to be."

A VICTIM who was targeted by a 'disgusting vile paedophile' over a 10-year period has spoken out after he was jailed for 14 years.

The 31 year old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was raped by mobile disco entertainer Graham Horrix - also known as DJ Elvis - between the ages of four and 14.

Horrix, 59, who maintains his innocence, first attacked the young girl in a toilet block near his seaside caravan before raping her on a mattress in the back of the vehicle.

Prosecutor Corinne Bramwell said: "When she was alone in the van Horrix used that opportunity to sexually abuse her and she describes wanting to scream, but being too frightened to do so."

On another occasion, he forced the victim to give him oral sex and raped her for the second time in his bathroom.

Speaking after Horrix was sentenced, the victim said: "I've finally got the news Ive waited so long to hear. The disgusting, vile paedophile Graham Horrix is now in prison.

"I have spent so much of my life feeling ashamed of what happened, made worse by it being constantly dismissed and being told to forget about it.

"He will no longer have any control over me."

During the trial the court heard that Horrix, of Priestwood Avenue, had a collection of porn and condoms in his touring van and has previous convictions for sexually abusing other young girls.

Jailing Horrix at Kingston Crown Court, recorder Sallie Bennett-Jenkins QC told Horrix, said: "They are grave offences. You were an adult yet committed a range of sexual offences against a child, who was young and extremely vulnerable.

"She was a child who had her innocence stripped from her by your brutal actions and she has suffered severe psychological harm."

Horrix, who shook his head in defiance during the hearing, says his partner has split with him and destroyed all his property, leaving him with nothing.

Horrix was convicted of two counts of raping the girl and was also convicted of three counts of indecently assaulting the girl in Clapham.

Recorder Bennett-Jenkins ordered Horrix to remain on licence for an extra twelve months when he is finally released and made an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and Restraining Order.
