By 2024, three women had bravely come forward to report a series of sexual offences against them when they were children.
These reports led to Stephen Lloyd, 67 of Winchester Avenue, Nuneaton, being found unanimously guilty of 12 offences, including two counts of raping a girl under 16 which took place between July 1991 and July 1993.
He was also convicted for the following offences, taking place between September 2009 and August 2022:

Investigating officer DC Jade Badhams said:
“After four years of tireless investigation and the incredible bravery of three women, we have a conviction putting a close to 35 years of rape and other sexual offences.
“We can’t remove the trauma. But we can say that we have found justice for the victims, and we’ve held Stephen Lloyd accountable for his actions, removing him from the public for what will likely be the rest of his life.”
