Description
A London rapist has been convicted of raping and sexually assaulting a woman in the Pembrokeshire seaside town of Tenby.
Nicholas Mitchell, then 55, appeared at Swansea Crown Court charged with two counts of rape and one of sexual assault by penetration following the May 1, 2021 attack.
He denied the charges but was found guilty on November 11 after a trial.
Judge Huw Rees sentenced Mitchell, now 60, of Park Avenue in West Wickham, Bromley, to eight-and-a-half years in prison.
He must register as a sex offender indefinitely.
