A man has been jailed after he was found guilty of a serious sexual offence against a child under five years old
At his trial on 31st January 2022, David Shaw formerly of Winsford but more recently Crewe was found guilty of committing a serious sexual offence against a young person known to him.
At Chester Crown Court he was sentenced to three years and six months imprisonment
A sexual harm prevention order was put in place to prevent him from engaging in a particular activity which includes:
- Having any unsupervised access to any child aged under 16
- Must not live in the same household as a child aged under 16 without written approval from childrens social services
- Conditions not to have any contact with the victim
