A rapist who filmed himself attacking one of his victims as she wept has been jailed for six years and three months.

Peter Renton, 39, preyed on two women, who cannot be named for legal reasons, between April 2019 and June 2021.

The attacks took place at addresses in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Musselburgh, East Lothian.

At the High Court in Glasgow, judge Lady Scott described Renton as "intimidating, violent and controlling".

She told him: "Your conduct showed behaviour which was designed to intimidate your victims - it included the filming of the assaults.

"I am satisfied that you present a serious risk of harm to women and I am satisfied that in order to protect the public I must impose an extended sentence."

The judge ordered that Renton must be supervised by the authorities for four years following his release from custody.

Renton had pleaded guilty to assault and rape charges in January this year.

The court heard he met his first victim in mid-2018. He carried out five attacks on her at his home in Musselburgh and at an address in Aberdeen.

In May 2020, Renton punched one of his victims at the flat in Musselburgh then ordered her into the bedroom.

He grabbed her phone and used it to film himself raping the crying victim.

She went to police in June 2020, but Renton moved on to another victim he had met on Facebook.

This woman was then abused at her home in Broomhouse, Edinburgh.

Renton was finally held by police in July 2021.

An Aber­deen mum had sex with a 15-year-old boy after invit­ing him into her home and telling him to “down” a glass of wine.

Jac­queline Milne (Jackie Milne) was 33 when she had sex with a teen­ager on three dif­fer­ent occa­sions.

Aber­deen Sher­iff Court was told she and her vic­tim had been at the same party together and he had walked her home.

She invited him in for a drink, poured a glass of wine and instruc­ted him to “down it”.

Fiscal depute Lynne MacVicar said Milne then told the boy to take off his top before kiss­ing him and tak­ing him to her bed­room.

Milne – who is now 36 – was con­fron­ted about her beha­viour by the woman who had hos­ted the party after hear­ing rumours about the pair.

She ini­tially denied it but later admit­ted to hav­ing inter­course with the boy.

Police were con­tac­ted when the boy’s par­ents heard the same rumours and found mes­sages on his Face­book app which sug­ges­ted sexual acts had taken place.

One mes­sage showed the boy mak­ing con­tact with Milne and stat­ing he wanted to fight another man.

She later replied: “You came to my house when I was drunk, had sex with me which I have no memory of what­so­ever ... that can be classed as rape, so stop threat­en­ing me please.”

In a police inter­view, Milne told officers she thought the boy was 17.

Milne, of Well­heads Avenue, Dyce, ini­tially denied a charge of enga­ging in sexual activ­ity with someone under the age of 16, but changed her plea before a trial last month.

Defence agent Liam McAl­lister said the boy was “never in any way inter­ested” in going to the police but was “more than happy” for their rela­tions to become pub­lic.

Sher­iff Morag McLaugh­lin ordered Milne to remain under the super­vi­sion of social work­ers for two years and carry out 225 hours of unpaid work.

She was also placed on the sex offend­ers register for two years.

A BEARDED paedophile has started a secret new life as a woman after transitioning while serving time in a Scottish jail.

Christopher Noble, 32, transitioned to Christyl Knight while behind bars for keeping a stash of over 4,000 vile pictures and videos of kids as young as six months old.

Her son Mark, eight, was was killed by convicted sex offender Stuart Leggate, 42, in 2004.

She said: Authorities shouldnt let paedophiles rewrite history. They should have to keep their identities intact while theyre still on the register.

"Where does this end? Will sex offenders soon be getting treatment on the NHS to change the way they look?

She added: Its not unusual for sex offenders to want a new identity but this is the most disturbing case Ive heard of.

"When someone, so soon after getting out of jail, is trying to change not just their name but their sex and appearance too, it sounds like theyre trying to hide rather than reform.

Echoing her calls, child protection expert Claude Knights said: Anyone whos fuelled the vile trade in indecent images of children and therefore contributed to their sexual abuse should not be allowed to change their name.

Cops found 4,224 indecent photos and 11 explicit videos of kids under 13 on a laptop, mobile and USB in the home.

A computer showed a live web chat discussing the sharing of children.

The then-bearded pervert admitted downloading and distributing 2,000 vile pics and was caged for 21 months in 2016.

Christyl, who was recently made bankrupt over nearly 19,000 of debt, added: Ive lost everything. I regret it. Im moving on with my life.

James Morton, of the Scottish Transgender Alliance, said: Our understanding is that transitioning does not erase your past if youre a sex offender.

"You have to give your new name to police. Trans people usually encounter greater suspicion. I dont think it helps people blend in.

The Scottish Prison Service does not comment on individual prisoners but said cons are dealt with according to their gender when theyre jailed.

AN evil sex beast who raped a girl aged 12 then claimed she made up the brutal attack after he gave her a row over the state of her room has been caged for seven years.

Predator Warren Gillespie gave a one-fingered gesture as he was led handcuffed from the dock after being found guilty at the High Court in Edinburgh.

The fiend, of Bucksburn, Aberdeen, struck after he'd been left to look after the youngster and other kids when their mother went for a night out with friends.

But the terrified child eventually told her mother and police were contacted.

Gillespie was detained and interviewed by officers and was sentenced today by Judge Kenneth Maciver QC.

Advocate depute Lisa Gillespie told the court: "He denied the allegation and suggested that the victim had fabricated it due to his having reprimanded her for the untidy state of her bedroom."

But the court heard forensic analysis of clothing backed up the girl's claims she'd been attacked.

Judge Kenneth Maciver QC said: "This was the rape of a girl of 12 and a half years of age with accompanying features of significant sexual assault."

The judge said it was clear from an impact statement that the crime had significantly affected the victim and was likely to continue to do so for a long time.

Former supermarket worker Gillespie earlier admitted sexually assaulting and raping the girl in September 2014 at an address in Aberdeenshire.

He was also placed on the sex offenders' register.

Police Scotland Detective Sergeant Barry Stewart welcomed the sentence.

He said: Gillespie targeted a vulnerable young girl and today he has been held accountable for his actions. Whenever incidents of child abuse are brought to our attention they will be fully investigated by specialist officers who will provide dedicated support.

"Gillespie's victim should be commended for having the courage to come forward and report his actions. Such actions are absolutely unacceptable and will not be tolerated. The police will always listens to victims of serious sexual crimes no matter when they occurred and will carry out a thorough investigation.

"We hope that this sentence will bring some form of closure for his victim and that she can now move on with her life."

David Cruickshank admitted one of the rapes.

An Aberdeen man who carried out three rapes and an indecent assault has been jailed for eight years and nine months.

David Cruickshank, 30, admitted one rape and was convicted of the other two.

He also admitted touching an 18-year-old sexually while she was having an epileptic fit.

Cruickshank was jailed at the High Court in Edinburgh, where Lord Uist said the seriousness of the crimes was "self-evident".

The crimes involved four different young victims.

The judge said: "You had an unsettled upbringing and suffered from an autistic spectrum disorder, but that did not effect your criminal responsibility for your actions, although it does explain your apparent lack of remorse for what you did."

Unemployed Cruickshank, formerly of Balnagask Wynd, Torry, raped his first victim, a 12-year-old, between 1999 and 2000.
