Description
A man was handed a five-year prison sentence after being convicted of grooming and repeatedly engaging in sexual activity with a teenage girl.
Philip Hares, 41, of Trevelyan Road in Cornwall, was sentenced at Ipswich Crown Court on September 25.
The court heard the offences involved a girl aged between 14 and 15 in Lowestoft.
Hares had denied the offences but was convicted following a trial.
Jurors found him guilty of two counts of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a child aged 13 to 15 and meeting a child following sexual grooming.
