A former North Wales Police officer has admitted to committing a sexual offence in Old Colwyn earlier this year.
Detective Constable Lee Harshey-Jones, who has now resigned from the force, appeared at Chester Crown Court this morning (Wednesday, 30 September).
During the hearing, he pleaded guilty to recording an image under clothing to observe another without consent, contrary to S.67A(1) and (4) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
The charge related to an incident involving two juvenile females, which occurred on Thursday, 11 June.
Harshey-Jones was quickly arrested and later charged by North Wales Police officers.
His suspension from duty was imposed immediately.
At court, the 45-year-old also pleaded guilty to corrupt or other improper exercise of police powers and privileges, and to a charge of perverting the course of justice.
After being granted bail, he will now be sentenced on Thursday, 19 November.
