Police have tracked down a missing sex offender.
James Alexander Campbell has been found and arrested by detectives in the Manchester area.
As previously reported, officers from Hampshire Constabulary were appealing for information about Mr Campbells whereabouts after he failed to register his address with authorities.
The 41-year-old was last seen in Portsmouth on November 19, 2012, after being released from court over an unrelated charge of shoplifting.
But Mr Campbell is now in police custody after he was tracked down in the north of England.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police issued a thank you to residents who had helped out during the appeal over the Easter period.
