A paedophile who sexually assaulted young girls he groomed over social media has been jailed.
Shane Fielding, 21, of Cheriton Drive, Bolton, used social networking apps to prey on girls as young as 13. Attacks took place after meetings were arranged following online chats.
Fielding pleaded guilty to grooming, two counts of sexual activity with a child and three counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. At Bolton Crown Court, he was sentenced to three years, two months in prison.
The offences came to light after GMP officers investigated Fieldings communications on social networking sites.

She said: I would ask everyone to be aware of the dangers of communicating with anyone they dont know on social media and for parents to be vigilant about their childrens access to technology.
