More than 500,000 images showing children of a variety of ages were recovered from David Allison's computer equipment A man who hoarded more than half a million indecent images of children, including some photos taken at a school and showing girls' underwear, has been jailed for three years. David Allison, of Moat Court, Shaw Close, Ottershaw, was sentenced at Guildford Crown Court last Friday (January 26), after previously pleading guilty to three counts of making indecent photos of a child, one count of taking images of a child and two counts of voyeurism by installing equipment or constructing or adapting a structure. The 48-year-old was arrested on November 29 last year in an intelligence-led search warrant at his home. Police recovered more than 500,000 indecent images showing children of a variety of ages from Allison's computer equipment. They included 5,038 category A images - the worst level - 8,693 category B images and 84,300 category C images. The court heard there were so many photos that police have not yet had time to look through them all since Allison's arrest. He took photos on his camera, but also with a camera pen and on his iPad. On one occasion Allison left the camera on his iPad poking out of the top of a bag while recording, the court was told. Lee Harris, prosecuting, said: "He would put it in a camera bag with the camera poking out the top and leave it in a place where it could film in the school. "It was premeditated and the stills were opportunist. There was one picture in particular of a person getting changed in a school classroom," Mr Harris added. Allison appeared for sentencing via video link from HMP High Down and sat with his head bowed throughout most of the hearing. Mr Harris continued: "He accepted he was responsible for downloading the images and also admitted he recently accessed a live streaming website but felt he was crossing a line. "He kept the images and movies on a single hard drive and one day said he would draw a line in it and put the disc through the shredder." Summing up, Judge Robert Fraser said: "It is very clear no-one knew what you were doing. This was by a very clear description very concerning." 'Ashamed and disgusted' Sarah Read, defending, said Allison, an ex-teacher, fully understood he needed to be punished. "He is deeply ashamed and disgusted in himself and is aware fully of the far-reaching impact on those that are affected," she told the court. "There will have been plenty of people who would have been impacted positively by him and he knows fully well those people will be shocked to see where he is now." Allison was also handed a lifetime Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) and was placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life.

Diane Chilcott, 40, and 21-year-old Daniel Pusey plied vulnerable victims with cigarettes and alcohol before driving them to hotels, where they were sexually exploited and abused A man and woman have been sentenced to a combined total of 19 years' imprisonment after being found guilty of their roles in the sexual exploitation of teenage girls. Daniel Pusey, 21, of Money Lane, West Drayton, and Diane Chilcott, 40 of Rutherwyk Road, Chertsey, were handed sentences of 13 years and six years respectively at Portsmouth Crown Court on Monday (December 18). They were found guilty in November of several counts of facilitating travel to exploit vulnerable teenage girls in Surrey. In April 2017, Pusey was also convicted of seven offences of sexual activity with a child in connection with the case. Following the sentencing, Detective Inspector Richard Haycock, from Surrey Police's Complex Abuse Unit, said: "The bravery shown by those exploited throughout the entire process is highly commendable. "I hope the sentencing of these two individuals brings some level of closure to the victims. "This was calculated exploitation of young teenage girls. These individuals clearly knew what they were doing, supplying the victims with alcohol to make them even more vulnerable to sexual abuse. "The offenders knew how old the girls were but continued to exploit them on a number of occasions. "I commend the victims for their bravery in speaking to authorities and seeing the legal process through to the end. This has been a long and difficult journey for them." The pair worked together to lure and sexually exploit girls at hotels across north Surrey and west London in January and February 2016, Surrey Police said. The victims, who were aged between 13 and 15 at the time, were plied with alcohol and cigarettes at Chilcott's house before being driven to hotels in Staines, Twickenham, Tolworth and Heathrow by Pusey or herself. At the hotels they would continue to be given alcohol and cigarettes before some were subjected to sexual abuse by Pusey. DI Haycock added: "If anyone is, or has been, in a similar situation, or has concerns about any child - I urge you to please come forward and tell someone who can help you. "Specialist officers worked closely with social services and police colleagues in London to investigate this case. "The police are also continuing to work with the hotel industry through the Operation Makesafe initiative to ensure their staff are alert to possible warning signs of children at risk. "If you work in a hotel and come across a situation involving a child that looks or feels suspicious, talk to your supervisor and contact the police on 101 quoting Operation Makesafe. "Dont ignore your gut feeling that something is not right. Say something if you see something."

A rapist has complained that he is being ripped off when he buys olive oil and tins of tuna or mackerel fillets in jail after conducting a price comparison survey from his cell.

Adam Marchment, who was jailed for ten years in April last year for raping a 15-year-old girl and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl, said he was sick of paying higher prices than people pay on the outside.

The 26-year-old carried out research from his cell at HMP Parkhurst on the Isle of Wight which now, along with HMP Albany is called HMP Isle of Wight even getting a family member on the outside to check prices online and at major supermarkets.

He then compared the prices to how much items cost on the canteen list, which is supplied by DHL.

Writing in this months edition of prisoners magazine Inside Time, Marchment said: Like many others, I am really starting to get frustrated by HMPPS (Her Majestys Prison and Probation Service) responses to the many prisoners complaining about our privatised, over-priced canteen system.

The heavily-tattooed inmate said he tested claims made by prison chiefs that it was not allowed to charge over the market recommended retail price, adding: I tested this theory and had a family member outside do some checks.

On Princes.co.uk they state that the RRP for a tin of mackerel fillets in tomato sauce is 1.45, yet DHL sell them to us for 1.75.

I also had a comparison website checked and none of the top supermarkets had the same item priced at over 1.40.

In fact at most supermarkets you can get 4 tins for 5.

A bag of Nescafe coffee original 150g, is 2.99, yet DHL sells this item to us for 3.99.

Extra virgin olive oil is 1.99 for 500ml, but DHL sell us 250ml for the same price. Are you seeing the recurring pattern?

He added: DHL continue to rip us off and are getting away with it.

It is about time HMPPS stopped ignoring this situation and realise that prisoners have access to the outside world and will question the utter rubbish they try to feed us.

Marchment, of Farnham, Surrey, was jailed for ten years at Guildford Crown Court in April 2016 after admitting one count of sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl in September 2015 and was found guilty of raping a 15-year-old girl in July 2014.

The court heard how police launched a manhunt for the rapist in October 2014 after he breached his licence conditions.

Marchment was on the run for more than a month, and even taunted cops on social media, putting a video called Man on the Run on YouTube bragging about how officers couldnt catch him.

Speaking on the video at the time wearing sunglasses and a hoodie he said: Hello everyone, Im Adam Marchment and as you all know I am a wanted man. I have now been on the run for 37 days.

Ive got a little message for Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire Police run run as fast as you can, you cant catch me Im the Marchment man.

He was caught soon after posting the video online.

Bosses at the HMPPS said that it was mindful of the need to provide value for money to the taxpayer in all our contracted services.

It said, however, in a response to criticism over canteen prices in Inside Time that all public sector prisons must operate a cost-neutral contract, at no cost to the public.

It stated that prisons must use the National Product List (NPL) in offering items to prisoners, and is not permitted to charge over the market recommended retail price for any of the products sold.

A Prison Service spokesperson said: Products sold through the prison canteen service are never higher than the manufacturers recommended retail price.

Parents of Andy Robson's child victims broke down in tears as a court heard how he used his iPhone to record pupils getting changed after sports activities A children's safeguarding leader and deputy headteacher is behind bars after sneakily recording videos of pupils getting undressed in changing rooms. Andy Robson, 42, from Dorking, was jailed for two years after he was convicted of taking photographs and videos of 70 naked schoolchildren at two separate Surrey schools. Parents of his child victims broke down in tears as Guildford Crown Court heard how Robson used his iPhone to record the young pupils getting changed after sports activities. He carried out his disturbing crimes over a period of several years when he was safeguarding leader and trainer at Surrey Hills CofE Primary School in Mole Valley and Ewell Castle School in Ewell. Recorder Michael Bromley-Martin described his acts as "a gross breach of trust" during the court hearing on Friday morning (July 21). The court heard how Robson had an addiction to downloading photos and videos of naked children through specialist software, and would then delete everything through guilt before downloading the software and images again. Police arrested the 42-year-old in February at his home in Leslie Road, Dorking, which was then searched by specialist officers. A number of items were seized including a laptop, USB sticks and two hard drives which contained indecent images of children. Robson was subsequently charged with two counts of making indecent images of children and two counts of taking indecent images of children. He pleaded guilty to all four charges at Staines Magistrates' Court on June 19. He was committed to Guildford Crown Court to be sentenced and Robson had his head bowed as he sat in the dock throughout the hearing. A number of the victims' parents were also in court for the sentencing. Many could be seen crying as prosecutor Lee Harris read out details of Robson's crimes. He said: "Mr Robson worked at two different schools at two different times, he started working at Ewell three days before the first image was taken. These images were all filmed on an iPhone. "Mr Robson was deputy and acting head teacher for two terms [at one of these schools] and went on a number of child protection courses and knew what to look for and when to raise concerns [about child safety]." Mr Harris told the court that after the police became aware of Robson's crimes, the two schools were informed and so were the parents of the children who were identified in his videos and images. Child 'asked what a paedophile was' A victim impact statement was read out by Mr Harris on behalf of one of the families affected. He said: "Our two children thought going to school was a safe environment, they liked Mr Robson and trusted him. He was a good teacher. "We were called to an organised briefing, held by the police. When I heard what had happened, my world fell apart." Mr Harris then read out another statement where a parent said her child "asked what a paedophile was". He added: "A word like that shouldn't be in their vocabulary. He only stopped when he was caught. He did not hand himself in." In mitigation, Robson's defence barrister Orla Daly described him as someone who had "fragile mental health" and insisted his arrest came as a "relief". She added: "He hasn't started to minimise his actions at all, he needs to be punished and needs help. "The images are produced in a particularly unsophisticated fashion. There is no whiff of [sexual] contact offences at a time when it could have been possible. "He is 42 years of age, back home living with his parents. He will never work as a teacher again, he will never work with children again. "He acknowledges the need for treatment and has shown an openness to those close to him who all know what has happened. Everyone is on the lookout for him." Mrs Daly asked Recorder Bromley-Martin to consider a suspended sentence to help with Robson's rehabilitation. Judge Bromley-Martin retired for about 20 minutes to consider what sentence to impose. 'This was a gross breach of trust' He said: "The moving images themselves are unsophisticated in their execution, there are brief glimpses of backsides and genitalia of those involved. "Children, their parents and the public are entitled to expect of you the protection of these young children, not for your exploitation. "It was done covertly and right up until the day before you were arrested. Because of this I am satisfied the custody threshold has been passed and it is not possible to suspend a prison sentence. "The offences were committed over two separate periods of time at two separate schools. These are not still images they are moving images of prepubescent children. "There are a large number of children, a large number of families who have been affected by what you have done. This was a gross breach of trust. "There are mitigating factors in that you have expressed remorse, full remorse for what you have done and have recognised what you have done and the damage you have caused." Robson was given nine months and 15 months respectively for the two counts of producing the indecent images at Surrey Hills and Ewell Castle which will run consecutively. He was given a six month and a three month prison sentence respectively for the two charges relating to making indecent images of children. This sentence would run concurrently with the other two counts giving a total of two years. Before Robson was led down to the cells he was handed a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) which will last for ten years and he was placed on the sex offenders register. He was also told to pay a 100 victim surcharge.

A gun smuggler who admitted he was a bit of a paedophile has been convicted of importing illegal firearms through the post.

A National Crime Agency probe found that Aaron Bishop, 39, took a delivery of guns with Martin Beard, 38, via the dark web.

A court heard that police searched Bishops house and found child pornography on a USB drive buried in his garden.

Bishop and Beard were convicted of importing firearms but a jury at Birmingham Crown Court cleared them of importing ammunition.

Bishop also admitted possessing indecent images of children and Beard admitted producing cannabis.

Mark Richards, 38, who delivered guns to the pair, was jailed for five years and four months.

Senior investigating officer Dawn Cartwright of NCAs border policing command, said: Richards used Beard and Bishop to accept the guns because he believed they were off law enforcements radar.

It has been a long wait to put these men before the court and we are very pleased with the jurys decision.

We will continue to target and pursue those supplying illegal guns regardless of how long it takes.

Bishop, of Andover Way, Aldershot, was jailed for four years and 10 months and Beard was sent to prison for four years and six months.

Richards, of Cramhurst Lane, Godalming, admitted conspiring to import prohibited Glock handguns and ammunition.

Top judges have refused to increase the jail term of a Merstham man who blighted the lives of three children, despite claims the sentence was “unduly lenient”.

Neil Hunter Cameron, 57, committed sex attacks on two young girls and showed an adult film to a teenage boy, whilst talking to him about “manly urges”.

Cameron, of Albury Road, pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault on a child under 13 and causing a child to watch a sexual act.

He was jailed for JUST 20 months at Guildford Crown Court on March 18.

That sentence was attacked yesterday as nowhere near tough enough by lawyers representing the Attorney General, Jeremy Wright QC.

Three senior judges at London’s Appeal Court heard Cameron groped one girl and kissed another, whilst making suggestive comments.

He showed the boy part of an 18 certificate “arthouse” film, portraying a sex scene between adults, and talked euphemistically about sex.

One victim complained to her family about what had happened to her and the police became involved.

Cameron then walked into his local police station and confessed to other sex crimes, which had gone undiscovered for almost a decade.

Lawyers for the Attorney General argued that Cameron had got off far too lightly for what he did to multiple victims.

But Cameron’s legal team urged a merciful course, saying he was sorry and that his brother had killed himself last week.

Lord Justice Davis, sitting with Mr Justice Jay and Judge Neil Ford QC, described it as a “sad case”.

“He has not sought to minimise his conduct. His expressions of remorse and shame were undeniably genuine and sincere,” he added.

“There was the fact of the voluntary confession to the police of the offences committed some years ago.”

Refusing to increase the sentence, Lord Justice Davis said: “What good would it do for this offender to spend but a few more months in prison?

“It would do no good. We are not prepared to interfere with the sentence imposed in this case.”

Merstham man jailed for serious sexual offences against children.

A MERSTHAM man has been jailed for serious sexual offences against children.

Neil Cameron, 57, of Albury Road, appeared at Guildford Crown Court today and pleaded guilty to four offences which took place between 2006 and 2015. 

These included three counts of sexual assault touching a child under 12 years old and one count of causing a child to watch or look at an image of sexual activity.

Cameron was also given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) for 10 years and been placed on the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years.

Commenting after the sentencing, Detective Constable Jason Kelly of East Surrey Safeguarding Investigation Unit, said: “I am pleased that the custodial sentence will put this predatory man behind bars – I hope today’s court result will go some way to providing the victims with the strength to put these incidents behind them and move on with their lives.

“This outcome has been made possible thanks to their bravery and having the courage to come forward and report this man’s appalling behaviour.

“Any victim of a sexual offence is encouraged to come forward and report any similar incidents. Surrey Police has a dedicated team that specialises in investigating serious sexual offences and victims can be assured that their welfare will be our priority.”

A 27-year-old from Ash has been sentenced to five years in prison after being found guilty of rape.

Daniel Band had been on a night out in Aldershot when he met the victim with a friend on Saturday December 14 2013.

The three ended up at Bands house in Avondale, at about 3am on Sunday December 15, where they had more to drink and the court heard they all fell asleep on the sofa.

During the trial of Band, who denied one count of anal rape, prosecutor Christopher May told the jury at Guildford Crown Court on Monday February 8 that at one point in the evening the victim woke up and went outside for a cigarette.

Mr May told the court that when she came back from having a cigarette, the two men were asleep.

So she went back and sat on the sofa and fell back asleep herself, Mr May said.

There had been, the crown say, no suggestion of sexual talk or foreplay or anything like that prior to this.

The court heard the victims friend left the house, leaving her and the defendant in the living room.

Andrew Jones used the girls, who were as young as seven, as playthings for his perverted pleasures.

He sometimes even invited pals to join in the abuse, which continued until he was 17.

But it was years before Jones, 44, from Farnham, Surrey, was brought to trial.

He was found guilty of one offence of rape, 13 of indecent assault and three of indecency with a child.

Moments before he was sentenced to 12 years in jail at Guildford Crown Court, two of his victims made victim impact statements.

They blamed Joness parents for allowing the abuse to continue after they had been alerted to what was happening.

One said: I hate Andy for what he did to me. Hes never apologised to me or had the guts to admit what hes done.

Jones was placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life and banned from working or associating with children.

An osteopath who sexually assaulted five male patients has had his "unduly lenient" 18-month jail term increased to four years by the Court of Appeal.

Mark Piraino, 40, from Redhill, Surrey, was originally sentenced by a judge at Guildford Crown Court in February.

He was convicted following a trial in which jurors were told that two of the victims were aged 13 and 15.

His prison term was increased by three appeal judges after a plea from the Solicitor General.

Oliver Heald, the Conservative MP for North East Hertfordshire, appeared in person to ask the Court of Appeal to increase the sentence.

'Preying on boys'
Speaking after the hearing, he said: "I felt the original sentence didn't reflect the number of victims, period of offending or the appalling breach of trust.

"I am pleased the court agreed with me."

Lady Justice Hallett, who headed the panel of judges, said Piraino, whose oldest victim was 31, "carried on offending" until he was "preying on quite young boys".

She said appeal judges decided to impose a four-year term after concluding that the 18-month sentence for offences committed over a 12-year period was "not simply merciful" but "unduly lenient".

"We have a duty to the individual complainants and to patients or clients up and down the country who are entitled to trust that healthcare professionals behave appropriately when they are at their most vulnerable," Lady Justice Hallett said.

A former caretaker who pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting two school boys has been spared jail.

Paedophile Arthur Miller also admitted having child pornography on his home computer, but walked free from Croydon Crown Court.

The 65-year-old former Stowford College IT teacher joined the school in Brighton Road in 1998, as a caretaker.

The first offence came to light on January 4, 2007, when he assaulted a boy in a shed used as a changing room for games.

The young victim told a friend what happened and he said something similar had happened to him the previous year.

A father of another boy said Miller pursued his son and gave him presents, which the court said had been "grooming".

The court heard that after his arrest Miller, from Priory Crescent in Sutton, wrote a suicide note for his wife and jumped in front of a Tube train. But he landed in a trough between rails and the train went over him.

When police went to his home they seized his computer and discovered two images of naked teenage boys and evidence he had viewed porn sites.

Defending, Sonya Saul, said Miller's relatives and friends were supporting him. "He is deeply ashamed and hopes there would be no lasting effect on the boys," Miss Saul said.

Judge Timothy Stow QC told Miller his behaviour was appalling. He added. "It was undoubtedly a breach of trust. I take into account your genuine remorse, which you demonstrated by trying to commit suicide."

Miller, who pleaded guilty to two charges of sexual assault and two of making indecent images of children, was given 12 months suspended for two years, disqualified from working with children for the rest of his life, given a two- year supervision order and made to sign the sexual offenders' register.

A mother of a former Stowford pupil, who wished to remain anonymous, said she was appalled by the sentence. "How can society let us down like this?" she added.
